An AI matchmaker, launching first in Orange County

Meet someone aligned with what you want.

Meet Aligned gives you your own AI matchmaker — tell it what you’re looking for right now, and it introduces you only when the alignment runs both ways. No swiping. No juggling conversations.

Early access is limited — join the waitlist. One thoughtful introduction at a time.

No swiping, no stack to browse Your own AI matchmaker Introductions only in the OC cluster at launch

The problem

Swiping isn’t dating. It’s searching.

You scroll through hundreds of profiles. You match with strangers. Most conversations go nowhere. You’re spending hours — on what, exactly?

What if the right person was never in your swipe stack at all — because nobody checked whether you wanted the same thing?

Dating apps have become work. Aligned removes the work, not just the swiping.

The idea

Stop swiping. Start aligning.

Aligned doesn’t give you a stack to scroll through. Your own AI matchmaker learns who you are, what you want right now, and what you will not compromise on — and introduces you only when that alignment runs both ways.

How it works

Three steps. One real introduction.

You talk to your matchmaker once. It remembers, it checks, and it only speaks up when there’s someone worth meeting.

STEP 011

Tell Aligned who you are

Not just your photos. In a real conversation: your values, lifestyle, what you’re looking for, and your dealbreakers. Your matchmaker remembers — so you never have to start over with every match.

STEP 022

Aligned checks alignment first

Hard rules first — age, distance, intent, and dealbreakers. Then reciprocal fit: would each of you plausibly say yes to the other? Then, in plain language, why this person is being suggested. No score. No league. Just reasons you can judge for yourself.

STEP 033

You both decide, in stages

First you see an anonymous introduction — the alignment, without a name or photo — and say yes or no. If you both say yes, you see each other’s photos and decide again. Only a yes at both stages exchanges names and opens the conversation.

Alignment is checked four ways — on every request

Intent is per-request, not a permanent label. The same person can be social on a trip and serious at home — your matchmaker confirms it each time before it represents you.

01

What

Serious, casual date, or social — for this request, not forever.

02

When & where

Tonight, this weekend, or ongoing at home — in the same place, at the same time.

03

Who

Values, interests, lifestyle, dealbreakers, and attraction.

04

How

Pace and boundaries for that meeting, agreed in advance.

No alignment on all four means no introduction.

How Aligned decides

An AI that actually understands you

Aligned doesn’t match on surface-level preferences, and it never assigns you a score. It builds an understanding of your values, how you communicate, where your life is headed, and what you want right now — then checks whether that runs both ways before it ever suggests a name. Every introduction is explained in plain language. The AI explains why — you decide.

Staged consent

The Two-Key Reveal

Nobody sees you unilaterally. A no at either stage is silent and blame-free.

Key 1 — Alignment

Anonymous first

You see why you’re aligned — what, when & where, who, and how — with no name and no photo. Say yes or no on the fit alone.

Key 2 — Photos

Photos, still no name

Only if you both said yes to Key 1. You see each other’s photos — still no name, no contact — and decide again, on your own.

Double yes

Names, then you talk

Only a yes at both keys exchanges names and opens the conversation. Then the two of you talk directly — Aligned steps back.

What an introduction looks like

Fewer matches. Better ones.

Aligned delivers one thoughtful introduction at a time. Because quality always beats quantity — and because an introduction should mean someone checked, in both directions, first.

Example — not a real member Example introduction · Costa Mesa
Stage 1 — Alignment, anonymous · Key 1

“You’re both in Costa Mesa, both looking for a serious relationship, both early risers who’d rather be outside than at a bar. You value honesty and direct communication. She’s drawn to an active, low-key life — so are you.”

YesNo
Stage 2 — Photos, still no name or contact · Key 2

Shown only if you both said yes. Decide again, on your own.

Stage 3 — Only on a double yes

Names are exchanged and the two of you talk directly. Aligned steps back.

Reasons, never scores. There is no percentage on a person — here or anywhere on Aligned.

Modes

What are you aligned on?

Aligned is not only about finding one forever person. It brings two people together who are mutually aligned in what they want, right now. You choose the mode for each request.

SFRONT DOOR

Serious

Intentionally looking for a real relationship. Aligned only introduces you to people seeking the same thing — the product is fully capable of the “forever” outcome, for people seeking it.

CFRONT DOOR

Casual Date

A low-pressure drink, dinner, or activity — with romantic potential and no commitment expectation. Aligned only introduces you to people seeking the same thing.

Not a hookup. There is no hookup mode on Aligned, ever.

○INSIDE ALIGNED

Social

Meet someone new, with no romantic expectation. Available to the same members inside Aligned — especially useful when you’re traveling — rather than as a separate app or audience. At launch, social introductions are one-to-one, with the same staged consent and safety as a date.

If someone asks their matchmaker to find a hookup, it is not sent out — the matchmaker redirects them to a real mode. That boundary is part of the brand.

Questions

Honest answers, up front.

No. Aligned is starting as a small, hand-run pilot in Orange County — introductions are arranged personally while we learn what works. The app is built only if the pilot proves people want this.
Free during the pilot. There is no price to announce yet — pricing only follows proof that introductions lead to real dates. Feedback is the price: honest check-ins after introductions.
Nobody — until two yeses. First, both people say yes to an anonymous alignment introduction (no name, no photo). Only then are photos shown, still without names or contact, for a second yes. Names are exchanged only on a double yes at both keys.
No. Casual Date means a low-pressure drink, dinner, or activity with romantic potential and no commitment expectation. Not a hookup. There is no hookup mode on Aligned, ever — and a request for one is never sent out.
Introductions start only in Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and Huntington Beach, for relationship-minded people roughly 25–40. The waitlist is open wider across Orange County — you’ll hear when introductions open in the cluster.
